Carrie Alexander

Ms. Carrie brings over two decades of experience and a passion for play-based learning to Pied Piper Preschool, enriching each child’s growth and confidence.

Committed to helping each child thrive through engaging and individualized learning experiences.

Ms. Carrie’s two decades of expertise in play-based education inspire and support the development and success of every child at Pied Piper Preschool.

Ms. Carrie discovered her love for early childhood education while volunteering at a childcare center, leading her to become an Early Childhood Educator in 1999 after graduating from Langara College. She furthered her expertise by earning an Infant/Toddler certificate and has since led both infant/toddler and 3-5 programs at various organizations before joining Pied Piper Preschool in September 2017.

Passionate about play-based learning, Ms. Carrie believes that children learn best through exploration and play. Her experience allows her to design programs that align with children’s interests, fostering their confidence and development. Outside the classroom, she enjoys family life as a wife and mom and spends her leisure time playing hockey in the winter and ball in the summer.
