Ms. Barb inspires resilience and creativity in children through play-based exploration and laughter.
Learning and growth thrive through play, exploration, and a touch of humor.
Ms. Barb fosters learning and growth by integrating play, exploration, and a sense of humor into her teaching.
Ms. Barb completed her Early Childhood Education training at Douglas College in 2001 and has since worked in diverse settings, including daycares, StrongStart, and Family Place programs. She furthered her education to become a Behaviour Interventionist, gaining valuable experience supporting children with extra needs before joining the Pied Piper team in October 2019.
Ms. Barb believes that children learn best through play and exploration, especially when guided by their interests. She values the role of laughter and humor in building resilience, self-esteem, and critical thinking skills. Outside of preschool, Ms. Barb enjoys bike riding, swimming, and spending time with her son.
